Yamaha’s Italian-Brazilian centaur Franco Morbidelli speaks out after two complicated years.

Yamaha centaur Franco Morbidelli tried to take stock after two really difficult years in MotoGp, between the leg injury and the big difficulties this season. “I feel like a better rider, the difficulties make me stronger, and I feel like I changed a lot of things when I changed bikes. I changed team, bike and team. So there were a lot of changes that slowed down the process,” his words to Motorsport.

“It’s normal that people don’t understand the two labors,” Morbidelli continued, “but I don’t care. People only see what happens on the track. So it doesn’t make me angry, it’s normal, that’s how it is.”

Morbidelli wanted to praise his team, “When I arrived I knew it would be very difficult to extract the potential from the bike. They stood by me and supported me, they always believed in me and I always believed in them. I am happy to be able to extract speed from the bike and to be able to completely change my style from a quiet rider to a very aggressive one. I am happy with the changes I was able to make. It has been a difficult season, but with a happy ending.”
