Reyer Venezia’s forward Derek Willis of the United States spoke about the difference in the performance of the Orogranata team between the league and the Eurocup: in the Lba standings, Walter De Raffaele’s men occupy the ninth position, compared with four wins in the first nine, while in Group A of the European competition, the Venetians are fresh off five wins in the first seven.

“There is no reason that can explain the difference between cup and league, we just have to give continuity, always putting the same energy into it. With Bursa from the very first minutes we played with great energy and this never failed. Maybe the only difference is that in Eurocup we face teams we know little about and who are undoubtedly top teams: maybe this influences, subconsciously, our attitude,” said the former Brindisi and Joventut Badalona among others.

Reyer, which comes from Tuesday’s Dec. 6 victory against the Turks of Bursaspor, will face Brescia in the league, already faced and defeated in the Eurocup round; while on Dec. 14 it will be in Badalona, for the eighth day of the continental review.
