Virtus, Baraldi apologizes: “It must not happen again.”

Virtus Bologna is licking its wounds after the heavy defeat suffered in Greece against Olympiacos. Ahead of the championship match with Scafati, CEO Luca Baraldi spoke, apologizing to the fans and asking the team for immediate redemption.

“Bad defeat, we take responsibility. As demonstrated in the past, we know how to react. I apologize to the fans for the performance of the whole Virtus group, the game saw us succumb from the point of view of performance and approach to the challenge. I do not think there is this difference between us and Olympiacos.”

“This must not happen again: it will happen that we will lose other games, but not with this performance approach. We have had other difficult moments in the past, we will overcome this too with dialogue and confrontation.”
