Simone Giannelli spoke the day after leading his Perugia to triumph in the club world championship as Mvp.
“I am very happy to have helped bring Perugia something it had never won and to have written a small page in Perugia’s history. It was very hard, against Trento it’s always a battle, they put us through a lot. I am proud of my teammates, the staff and the club, we are building a good mentality and this is a trophy won really as a team.”
“World champion with the national team and with the club? That’s not bad actually,” concluded the national team captain.
