France-Morocco: the probable formations
Likely lineups
At 8 p.m. Italian time, France and Morocco will compete in the second semifinal of the Qatar 2022 World Cup, scheduled to be played at Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor, to join Lionel Messi’s Argentina, the first finalist of the rainbow event, after getting the better of Croatia 3-0.
Among Deschamps’ men, both Dayot Upamecano and Adrien Rabiot have experienced some discomfort but the transalpine coach hopes to count on both from the first minute. In case of forfeits, Saliba and Camavinga could be deployed. No other changes among the French ranks, who in attack will be able to count on Mbappè and Giroud, together authors of nine goals since the start of the tournament.
The big surprise of the World Cup, Morocco, will rely on the starters in coach Regragui’s rotations. The only doubt in defense, where captain Saiss will try to grit his teeth once again after coming out in tears against Portugal.
