Dragan Sakota positive for Covid-19
The new coach of Pallacanestro Reggiana and former coach of Fortitudo Bologna, AEK Athens and Red Star among others, Dragan Sakota, will most likely not be present for his home debut on the bench of the red and white team, scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 18 against Reyer Venezia.
In fact, as communicated by the Emilian club, the Serbian coach, who also holds Greek citizenship, tested positive for Covid-19 during the morning of Thursday, Dec. 15.
“Sakota has been placed in home isolation and the direction of the team has been temporarily entrusted to vice-coach Federico Fucà,” reads the note released by Pallacanestro Reggiana through its official channels.
