Sinisa Mihajlovic, Seedorf: “He paralyzed me for an hour.”
Former midfielder remembers Serbian coach: “By leaving us, you created a void and filled it with deep reflections on life”
Clarence Seedorf on Instagram remembered Sinisa Mihajlovic, who passed away at the age of 53 after a tough fight against leukemia: “The final whistle of your match paralyzed me for at least an hour. In the World Cup environment everything goes fast and almost all people are in their highest happiness living a dream. You leaving us created a void and filled it with deep reflections on life.”
“Particularly your life. You were a warrior even during the hardest battle and you confirmed to me how worthwhile it is to fight for what you love. You loved life and you left with no regrets. With tremendous respect and affection I bid you farewell my friend. Now peace will be with you and you can rest forever. Thank you for everything dear Sinisa, I send my condolences to your family,” the Dutch midfielder’s words.
