Croatia-Morocco, the probable formations
Likely lineups
Penultimate act of the World Cup in Qatar. Pending the final between Argentina and France, the final for third/fourth place between Croatia and Morocco will be staged on Saturday at 4 p.m. Italian time at the Khalifa International Stadium in Doha.
Both national teams suffered a fairly straightforward defeat in the semifinals: the vice world champions fell under the blows of Lionel Messi and Julian Alvarez while Morocco’s fairy tale was extinguished against France, which reached the final thanks to goals from Theo Hernandez and Kolo Muani.
Dalic is expected to spare Brozovic, who is struggling with muscle discomfort: in his place Majer is ready and will play in the three-quarter with Perisic and Vlasic on his sides in front of lone striker Kramaric. Confirmed en bloc defense and Livakovic between the posts.
Regragui has to deal with numerous absences in defense: the only certainty is Hakimi on the right flank, while both center-backs Aguerd and Saiss and the other full-back Mazraoui are out. The midfield, on the other hand, is confirmed with Amrabat in the box on either side of Ounahi and Amallah. In front, the offensive trident consists of the usual Ziyech, En-Nesyri and Boufal.
