Mattia Binotto, a rival laughs: “Ferrari now weaker”
Red Bull executive Marko criticized Mattia Binotto’s departure as Ferrari team principal
Red Bull executive Helmut Marko in an interview with Auto Motor und Sport criticized Ferrari’s decision to say goodbye to Mattia Binotto and rely on former Alfa Romeo Sauber Frederic Vasseur: “I do not understand the change that Ferrari wanted to make. I consider Mattia Binotto a very good technician and politician. He was simply overwhelmed by his task.”
“It would have sufficed to provide him with a sports director to support him on the track and with strategy. The arrival of new man, who has as many other tasks as Binotto, I see it in the end as a weakening for Ferrari,” the Austrian team executive stressed.
