Ducati, Ciabatti reveals backstory on Jack Miller
Sports director on Australian’s choice: “Understandable refusal.”
Ducati sport director Paolo Ciabatti is back to talk about Jack Miller and his farewell to the Borgo Panigale stable. The Australian rider preferred to move to KTM, where he will be a centaur of the official team, rather than return to Pramac Racing, in the satellite team of the red stable.
“In Jack’s case, we had other plans for him,” Ciabatti explained. “We wanted to offer him an official bike at Pramac, but with only a one-year contract. And understandably he was given the opportunity to be an official rider on a KTM for two years, probably even with a slightly better salary. So it’s completely understandable that he turned down our offer.”
