John Terry encourages his former teammate and coach: “Be strong and keep fighting Luke”
John Terry sent a heartfelt message of support to Gianluca Vialli, who is hospitalized in London where he is continuing his long battle with pancreatic cancer, discovered in 2017.
“Come on and keep fighting, Luca. We are all thinking of you, praying for you and sending you our love and strength,” the former Chelsea defender, whom Vialli himself as a coach had made his debut for the Blues in 1998, wrote on Twitter.
Vialli stayed a four-year spell at Chelsea, where he was both player (for the first three years) and coach for the last two years, winning an FA Cup, a League Cup, and the 1998 Coppers Cup.
