Lorenzo Musetti dreams big and rattles off his next goal
Lorenzo Musetti wants to pick up where he left off
A great protagonist of the 2022 season (especially in the second half), so much so that he earned the “Best Italian Tennis Player of the Year” award at the Supertennis Awards in Genoa, Lorenzo Musetti also shows that he has clear ideas when it comes to his 2023 goals.
Interviewed by Sky Sport on the sidelines of the event, the Carrara-born player in fact said, among other things, that he is aiming hard for the Australian Open: “I had a short vacation,” he said, “then I started the preparation again, which will be quite short. We are in the middle but I feel good, we are working a lot to regain the right energy especially from the physical point of view. We are doing a very good job.”
Musetti won the best Italian player award in the men’s sphere at the Supertennis Awards. In the women’s sphere, on the other hand, the award went to Martina Trevisan.
