NBA: Utah wins, few minutes for Simone Fontecchio. Denver and New York fly.
Success for the Jazz, 5′ for Fontecchio
Five games played in the NBA on the Italian night between Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Utah Jazz try to get back on their feet after a few too many fluctuating performances by beating the Detroit Pistons 126-111: 38 points for Lauri Markkanen, while Simone Fontecchio is employed only 5′ without scoring or recording assists or rebounds.
Flying in the West, on the other hand, were the Denver Nuggets, who with a 13-point, 13-rebound, and 13-assist Nikola Jokic outscored the Memphis Grizzlies 105-91, who were not satisfied with 35 points from Ja Morant. For the team from the ‘Mile High City’ it is an important success, which is worth hooking right on the Grizzlies at the top of the Conference.
In the East, on the other hand, the New York Knicks’ ascent continues, as they overwhelmed the Golden State Warriors 132-94, thus obtaining their eighth consecutive victory: Julius Randle, author of a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds, was on the top of the list.
Trying to pick up the pace, the Chicago Bulls, dragged by Nikola Vucevic’s 29+12, beat the Miami Heat 113-103. Surprise knockout, finally, for the Phoenix Suns, overcome at home by the Washington Wizards of a brilliant Kyle Kuzma (29 points): 113-110 the final score for the Capital team.
