Salernitana, for the midfield the dream comes from Fiorentina
Salernitana is looking for Maggiore’s replacement
Salernitana has already intervened in the market by acquiring Mexican goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa, who will replace the unavailable Luigi Sepe, out due to a calf injury. The extreme defender arrives from Mexican Primera Division club Club America, where he has been playing since 2019.
The Campania management, however, is also working to manage to plug the hole left by another injured player, midfielder Giulio Maggiore. In fact, the former Spezia captain suffered a left quadriceps injury after the December 12 friendly against Fenerbache.
Among the hottest names to replace the 1998 class the first on the list is that of Fiorentina-owned Pole, at Empoli last season, Szymon Zurkowski. However, the Granata club will have to guard against the interest of the Tuscan club itself, which already in the summer seems intent on having the 1997 class wear the Azzurri uniform again.
