Luis Enrique may return to the bench immediately: according to Marca reports, the former Spain coach, who was exonerated after the defeat against Morocco in Qatar, could coach Brazil after Tite’s farewell. The other options for the Brazilian bench lead to Zinedine Zidane and Thomas Tuchel. Rather unlikely is Carlo Ancelotti.
Luis Enrique, born in Gijón on May 8, 1970, coached Barcelona, Roma and Celta Vigo in his career before ending up on the Spain bench. As a footballer he played in the midfielder’s role and wore the jerseys of Sporting Gijón, Real Madrid and Barcelona. He played his last game as a player on May 16, 2004.
