Sebastian Vettel doesn’t feel at Verstappen’s level
Sebastian Vettel’s words
Sebastian Vettel to Austrian channel Servus TV spoke about what, after his fresh retirement, is now a former colleague, namely reigning world champion Max Verstappen.
“I don’t know if I would know how to do what he does, for example maneuvers, overtaking and things he does in certain track conditions. He has an incredible feel for the car, incredible control and he can understand situations very quickly. You could see at the iniizo that Max was a little reckless, but that was okay. It’s really very rare for someone to come in at such a young age and have such a feel for the car.”
It was Sebastian Vettel who was the first driver to win a world championship with Red Bull. The German put everyone in line for four years in a row, from 2010 to 2013. The Austrian stable returned to success in 2021 thanks to Dutchman Max Verstappen, with the son of the art repeating the following year. If there was a battle to the last in 2021, that was not the case in 2022.
