Adel Santana Mendy, an Aubagne striker, has died in tragic circumstances: according to reports across the Alps, he was shot dead in the night between Friday and Saturday in the 14th arrondissement of Marseille. The 22-year-old footballer had come through the training center of Olympique Marseille and had landed at Aubagne last summer.
“He will leave a great void and will forever remain one of us. All our thoughts and condolences go to his family,” Aubagne’s remembrance on social media.
