F1, Aston Martin: Dan Fallows believes in new project
Stroll, next year, will have Alonso as his teammate
The year 2022 has not been exciting for Aston Martin. So many problems and a single-seater not up to the mark. However, for 2023, there is much excitement. The arrival of Alonso (instead of Vettel) should be seen as a clear sign of wanting to improve.
Aston Martin technical director Fallows is convinced of this: “We think the 2023 car will be much more competitive than this year’s. I’m sure we can take a big step forward with the AMR23. I’m sure of that because when I review the car I see areas for improvement everywhere. We have, literally, hundreds of projects going on right now, in the aerodynamics department, in the design office, in research and development, all over the team. People are finding new solutions, whether it’s weight improvements, aerodynamics, etc. Everything will result in better performance,” his words reported by Marca.
