Heavy hand from league leadership
As was to be expected, the NBA used a heavy hand regarding the events that occurred in the Detroit-Orlando match on Wednesday night. After the maxi brawl on the court, with fists and shoving, came the league’s decision.
Detroit guard Hayes was suspended for three games (without pay). Wagner (Orlando) and Diallo (Detroit), on the other hand, for two and one game, respectively. In addition, the NBA suspended, for one game as many as eight Orlando players, guilty of leaving the bench during a brawl. Specifically, the players suspended for one round are Anthony, Hampton, Harris, K.Harris, Schofield, F.Wagner, Mo Bamba and Carter Jr.
