Clarence Seedorf’s words.

Clarence Seedorf to Gazzetta dello Sport admitted that he did not receive calls from Italy after his farewell to AC Milan: “I also expected an offer from the A team and I am sorry I did not receive it. I remain open, I would like to coach again but it is certainly not a problem.”

“Napoli deserves to be there, they have the best soccer. The challenge is to confirm the growth. Being in front is tougher than coming back, we’ll see if they have the head to hold up. Milan is more used to playing important matches and is solid. I believe it will shorten the gap. Milan’s good fortune is to have re-established, especially with Maldini, a winning culture.”

A comment on Inter: “Lautaro is a great player but let’s not compare the role he has in Argentina and Inter. In the Nerazzurri he has almost the weight of Messi in the national team. He will still grow and at the 2026 World Cup he will do very well. Onana? A great goalkeeper, an intelligent, curious man who takes an interest, exposes himself. I believe he will return to play with the national team. Lukaku? I think it was wrong for Lukaku to leave. If you are well, why go to Chelsea? Money is the most obvious answer but it should not always take priority: that is also one of the reasons why there are fewer top players today. I, however, wish him the magic again.”
