Hamilton had some honeyed words for Mercedes team principal

Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton, who finished sixth in the last season, wanted to have honeyed words for Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff. The Briton has been working with the Austrian executive since 2013, when he moved to the Brackley stable from McLaren.

“He is very focused as a leader on improving people and making them calm. I don’t know any other leader, at least among those I’ve worked with, who goes and says, ‘Hey, how are things at home? How can I help you, so that you have more time with your wife, your husband or your partner, your kids, so that you come to work and are happier and want to engage more?’ That is what Toto is. So I think that’s why there’s a lot of hunger within the team,” Hamilton said in words reported by ‘FormulaPassion’.
