Fiorentina, heavy shingle in attack
Bad news in the Viola household
Heavy shingle in the attack for Fiorentina. Brazilian striker Arthur Cabral, who was forced off the field in the last league match with Sassuolo due to a left thigh problem, underwent instrumental examinations that revealed a second-degree hamstring injury in his left thigh.
This was announced by the violet club itself in a note released on its official website: “ACF Fiorentina announces that, yesterday, the player Arthur Cabral underwent diagnostic tests following the injury sustained during Saturday’s match against Sassuolo. The instrumental examinations performed showed a second-degree injury of the hamstring of the left thigh. The player has started the rehabilitation course and will be re-evaluated over the next few days.”
No recovery time has been disclosed, but since it is a second-degree injury, the purple center forward will surely be in the pits for more than a month, missing several matches, including the challenges with Roma, Lazio and Juventus.
