Cremonese, Davide Ballardini is the new coach: his statements
Massimiliano Alvini’s heir apparent has arrived in Cremona.
Davide Ballardini is the new coach of Cremonese. The grigiorosso club itself made it official through a note published on the company website.
“U.S. Cremonese announces that it has entrusted Davide Ballardini with the position of coach of the first team,” the statement reads. The coach has signed an agreement that will bind him to the grigiorosso club until June 30, 2024. Also arriving in Cremona with him are the members of his staff: Carlo Regno (assistant coach), Francesco Bertini (athletic trainer), Roberto Beni (technical collaborator), Nicola Tarroni (technical collaborator), and Andrea Sardini (goalkeeping coach).”
“I am very pleased that the company has thought of us. That said, our attention will be immediately turned to work on the field and getting to know the players. Nothing else can be added except that we will train and try to do our best,” were Ballardini’s first words as coach of Cremonese. They were reported by the Lombardy club’s own website.
