Cortina: Mameli’s Anthem promises to be special

‘Song of the Italians’ will be played by Giulio Maceroni supported by a string quartet

The ‘Inno di Mameli’ will give an extra charge to Sofia Goggia, Federica Brignone and the other Azzurre before the start of the World Cup downhill in Cortina.

The ‘Song of Italians’ will be played Saturday by guitarist Giulio Maceroni, supported by the string quartet formed by Matteo Lipari, Giovanna Di Domenico, Caterina Coco, Silvia Beatrice Pagano, all professional musicians.

Maceroni had also played the Mameli Anthem at the Misano Grand Prix last Sept. 4.
