Nicola could return to the Salernitana bench
Sensational possibility for Salernitana’s bench: a little more than 36 hours after Davide Nicola’s exoneration following the 8-2 defeat suffered at Atalanta, president of the Campania club Danilo Iervolino is reportedly considering recalling the former Crotone coach to the bench.
Several names have been floated in recent hours for the granata team’s bench: from Rafa Benitez, to Eusebio Di Francesco, Roberto D’Aversa, Roberto Donadoni and Leonardo Semplici, with whom an agreement had already been reached.
The Salernitana number one, however, is reportedly considering retracing his steps, and in all likelihood on Wednesday, January 18, the final decision should be announced.
