Inter cold shower: Skriniar does not want to renew
The Slovak does not want to renew
Bad news for Inter: Milan Skriniar’s future looks increasingly far from the Nerazzurri side of Milan. The defender, who has been in the Nerazzurri since the 2017/18 season, at the moment is not willing to renew his contract with the meneghino club, which expires in June 2023.
The former Sampdoria player had asked for eight million euros a year for the renewal but the Milanese club stopped at six million plus bonuses. It’s a different story compared to the prospects the Slovakian would have if he decided to accept the court of Paris Saint-Germain, which already offered him a 9-million-a-season contract in the summer.
Skriniar’s agent, Roberto Sistici, confirmed to the Nerazzurri club that his player will not sign the proposal made by Inter at the moment. Although President Zhang’s club has done everything possible to retain the defender, it now seems intent on looking for a viable alternative on the market, in case the 1995 class decides to leave the Lombard capital.
