Serie B: Genoa joy in the 93rd minute, Inzaghi wins in comeback
De Rossi’s Spal doesn’t break through Ascoli wall despite numerical superiority
After Friday’s tasty advance between Palermo and Bari, fourteen other teams took the field early Saturday afternoon, engaged in the 21st round of the cadet league. While waiting for Cittadella-Cagliari, the last match of the day, and the Sunday postponement between Brescia and Frosinone, the field gave important verdicts.
The first is that Genoa continues to fly, thanks to the important 2-1 victory on the field of Benevento. A goal by the former Puscas in the 93rd minute was decisive. Fatal instead were the minutes of recovery for Luca D’Angelo’s Pisa, which was caught in the 95th minute by Como. Three golden points those conquered, in a comeback, by Filippo Inzaghi’s Reggina, which crushed the resistance of an excellent Ternana grazIe to a Fabbian double. Half a false step for Daniele De Rossi’s Spal, unable to win the three home points against an Ascoli reduced to 10 from 43 minutes because of Samuel Giovane’s expulsion.
