For Roma, Ibañez and Abraham scored.

Roma needed only the first six minutes of the match to get the better of Paolo Zanetti’s Empoli: the Giallorossi came out on top thanks to goals from Roger Ibañez in the second of the game and Tammy Abraham in the sixth minute from the whistle.

The hosts got off to a very strong start and even scored two goals in six minutes: first the Brazilian defender perfectly framed the ball on a corner kick taken by Paulo Dybala and then the former Chelsea man imitated him, again on a suggestion from the Argentine number 21. Empoli is dazed and struggles to get into the game, the first half ending with Mourinho’s men ahead by two goals.

In the opening of the second half, the Tuscan team certainly shows more conviction but without creating major headaches for Rui Patricio; instead, it is Roma that comes close to doubling the score with Mancini first and Abraham then, on which Vicario makes a miraculous double intervention. The hosts carefully managed the result, closing with few risks. Important victory for the Giallorossi, who momentarily hook Inter on 40 points in the standings.
