Genoa and Reggina ambushed, Parma and Palermo now dreaming

Leaders’ pursuers fall, and two biggies authoritatively reenter the playoff zone.

Bitter Sunday for Genoa and Reggina, second and third in the Serie B standings behind only Frosinone. In fact, both lose on the road, with their respective opponents fueling their promotion dreams in no small part. They are Parma and Palermo, who after their successes rise to seventh and sixth place.

At the Barbera it ends 2-1 for Palermo, against a Reggina that could have picked up in the Sicilian away match an even worse loss.
