The president of Umana Reyer Venezia said goodbye to De Raffaele, who was exonerated after the loss to Brindisi

Umana Reyer Venezia president Federico Casarin published an open letter to Walter De Raffaele on the official website of the Venetian club.

“Dear Walter, after 13 years of intense and fruitful collaboration our paths, professionally speaking, come to a turning point, but our friendship, our being team within the team, will never end. It is a moment marked by different feelings, because together we have shared an extraordinary path that will remain forever in our history, in the history of Reyer and of sports Venice. The history and the achievements of these years will continue to be handed down and never forgotten.”

“The human values that Dr. Brugnaro passed on to us, and which we shared, were the real secret of our journey. As president, but even before that as a friend, I want to say thank you. Thank you for your dedication to work, for your passion and professionalism that made the club grow, even before the successes. Thank you for your desire to always give and get the most out of everyone.”

“It is impossible to sum up the Reyer – De Raffaele binomial in a few words, so I rely on your phrase from that June 23, 2017, on the occasion of the first Scudetto, on the stage of Piazza Ferretto: ‘And this one stays!’ I wish you the best, this will always be your home. With great esteem and affection. Federico Casarin.”
