Milan, Ibrahimovic returns and promises a turnaround: ‘I am still god’
Ibra promises a breakthrough
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has returned to training with teammates after several months of absence due to cruciate ligament surgery. The Swedish player spoke to ‘SportMediaset’ about his return to the field and the bad moment AC Milan is going through.
“I’m still god, I’m still number 1: now I come back and change the music. I have a lot of desire, I want to recover the 7/8 months I lost. Team in difficulty? I’m not worried, these are normal moments within a season. Now we have to talk little and prove our worth on the field,” said the Rossoneri number 11, promising a turnaround.
Ibra then also reserved comforting words for De Ketelaere, one of the players most targeted by fans: “In these months I was not every day with the team, to know him well I have to be every day in the locker room. He has great pressure also because of the price paid. He is a talent, he has great potential, he just has to find the right way to grow. Then he is in another city, away from home and he has to get used to it. He just has to get unstuck, then once he gets unstuck everything starts.”
