Italian derby in the quarterfinals of the Open Sud de France (ATP 250 – prize money 562,815 euros) being played on the indoor fast court of the eponymous Arena in Montpellier.

Lorenzo Sonego, number 56 ATP, in fact defeated 7-5 6-1 Filip Krajinovic, number 71, and will face Jannik Sinner on Friday.

This will be the first direct clash between the two, with the South Tyrolean still not having played a minute after a first-round bye and Fucsovics’ forfeit.

The term ATP (Association of Tennis Professionals) refers to the association that groups all male professional tennis players from all corners of the world. The ATP’s primary task is to protect the interests of the players and also to organize essential services, such as, for example, the drafting of the world rankings, called the ATP rankings, and tournament scheduling.
