SuperG, scary fall for Dominik Paris
Dominik Paris failed to finish the race: ‘It was all or nothing’
Bad fall for Dominik Paris during the men’s Superg at the Alpine Ski World Championships in Courchevel-Meribel. The Italian skier while turning to the right collided with a door and flew through the air, ending up against high-speed nets.
However, the scare lasted only a few seconds: Paris got up and returned to the finish line on his own legs, without any particular problems. The Azzurro to Raisport explained his mistake this way, “It was all or nothing today unfortunately. Either you risk it or you’re behind. But I came too bad on that pole, too tight and I got up. I took a big hit on the butt, but I should recover…. I wouldn’t say I’m okay… (laughs ed.).”
