Elena Fanchini, Elena Curtoni: “Difficult situation to deal with.”
Elena Curtoni wished to turn her thoughts to Elena Fanchini at the end of the last round of the women’s downhill at the World Championships in Méribel: “We have to move on, life goes on. The thought of Elena is great, it is a difficult situation to handle but we are also here to honor her memory as best we can. I am sure she is watching us.”
The skier went on to talk about her test: “Today I took a spike that almost made me fall, there are still things to file to make a good result, we will complete at the video the preparation to be at the top in the race.”
