Elena Fanchini: Sofia Goggia has been awful
At the end of the third and final round of the women’s downhill at the World Championships in Méribel, Sofia Goggia analyzed her first time this way: “It was a positive training, I’m averagely happy with the test done, a couple of inaccuracies I made but we are almost ready. Brignone and Bassino’s medals in the past days were fantastic, it’s something further good for our team. The downhill quartet is ready, we have one more goal to achieve.”
Inevitable a thought for Elena Fanchini: “Each of us has a personal grieving process, until yesterday I was very bad, now I feel calm and want to make a good result. They have been good days of training on this track, after a troubled month of January and the conditions in which I was arriving.”
