Dominik Paris: “That’s not good enough.”
Blue skier far from the leaders in downhill race
Dominik Paris failed to medal in the downhill event at the Alpine Ski World Championships in Courchevel-Meribel. The Italian skier finished in eighth place: “I gave everything, but it was not enough. Definitely I had to be even faster. I didn’t like myself before the floor, I couldn’t make speed, underneath I felt like I was okay but it’s not enough,” were his words to RAI microphones.
Paris paid compliments to Marco Odermatt, who also came out on top in the downhill: “Odermatt has been going fast all winter, on technical slopes he is even faster and there is only to be congratulated.”
