Udinese-Sassuolo 2-2

A 2-2 draw ends the first match of the long Serie A Sunday between Udinese and Sassuolo.

At the Dacia Arena it was immediately Destiny Udogie who put the Friulians ahead, scoring after just 25 seconds of play. Sassuolo, however, responded almost immediately: it was not yet 6 minutes when Matheus Henrique scored for the second consecutive away game, signing the 1-1.

The match remained alive and Udinese took the lead again in the 28th minute through Bijol but the neroverdi came back for the second time just before halftime, taking advantage of Perez’s unfortunate own goal in the second minute of the first half.

In the second half, the goals remained untouched: Udinese thus got back on track in the standings, adding a point after the knockout loss at home to Torino. For Sassuolo, on the other hand, it is the fourth consecutive useful result, after the draw in Monza and the victories against Milan and Atalanta.
