Atalanta, perfectly successful surgery for Hans Hateboer
Season over for Dutch footballer
After clinical-instrumental examinations had revealed the rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, as communicated by Atalanta itself, it was only expected that Hans Hateboer, who was injured during the match between Lazio and Gian Piero Gasperini’s eleven, would end up under the knife. The Orobic club gave evidence on Monday of the outcome of the arthroscopic reconstruction surgery performed by Prof. Pierpaolo Mariani at the Villa Stuart clinic in Rome.
“Atalanta B.C. announces that today, Monday, February 13, Hans Hateboer underwent arthroscopy of his right knee for the reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament. The surgery was perfectly successful. The player will begin the rehabilitation program immediately,” the club’s note reads.
The oranje side’s season can be considered over here.
