Lamberto Zauli in Crotone

Crotone has announced that it has entrusted Lamberto Zauli with the technical leadership of the first team.

Born in Rome on July 19, 1971, he boasts a long career as a footballer with the jerseys of Vicenza, Bologna, Palermo and Sampdoria, among others.

Having undressed his shoes as a player, he began his coaching career in 2009 with Bellaria and then gained various experiences around Italy. In 2019 he landed at Juventus where he was entrusted with the Under 19 team, which he led in the middle of the Scudetto Playoff zone at the stop of the championship, in the semifinals of the Italian Cup of the category and for the first time in history to the Round of 16 of the UEFA Youth League. In 2020 he was promoted to lead the Under 23 in Lega Pro where he remained for two years achieving excellent results, before a brief spell at Sudtirol, newly promoted to Serie B, at the beginning of the current season.

The new Rossoblù coach, who will lead the first training session tomorrow morning and at 12:15 p.m. will be presented to journalists at the Ezio Scida press room, signed a contract until June 30, 2023 with automatic renewal upon the occurrence of certain conditions.
