Ducati, Davide Tardozzi dampens enthusiasm: ‘Something we don’t like’
Team manager keeps everyone on the ball: “We’re still far from happy.”
Ducati team manager Davide Tardozzi curbs the enthusiasm that has seeped into Ducati’s house after MotoGp testing in Sepang: “Rated 6+. The competition is very active in making innovation, our opponents have worked a lot. We did a little development of the Ducati 2022, but we are still far from being happy. We have made progress, there are still some things that Bagnaia and Bastianini don’t like. In Portimao we will decide on the final bike,” are the words to Sky.
At the moment, the understanding between the two riders is perfect: “On the integration in the team the grade is 10, Enea has been good and Pecco has facilitated this insertion. From this point of view we are very happy. On the bike there is still something to develop, at Borgo Panigale the engineers always have something in the drawers, it’s something that still surprises me… On the aerodynamics there is something we don’t like and we will see if we can put it right for Portimao.”
