Ducati rider beats brother in Sepang test and ironizes

Honda confirmed its difficulties in the MotoGp tests staged last weekend in Sepang. Marc Marquez was always far from the frontrunners and expressed his impatience in several interviews in Malaysia.

The Catalan rider also finished behind his brother Alex Marquez, who, on the other hand, precisely on the Malaysian track showed that he was comfortable with the Ducati of the Gresini team. The younger Marquez tried to joke about the situation: “I have the keys to the house in Spain. I hope the lock hasn’t been changed when I get home tomorrow….”

For Marquez Jr. after the difficult years in Honda it was like a release: “The continuous progress in all three days is a good sign. The problems? I still too often get the rear wheel losing contact with the asphalt under braking, not good for optimal deceleration. The greatest weight of braking is on the front wheel, but having good contact at the rear puts less stress on the front tire and allows you to brake later. It’s a combination I still need to work on, as well as my riding position,” are the words reported by Corsedimoto.
