F1, Fernando Alonso gives an important clue about his future
The awareness of the two-time world champion: “My time behind the wheel is not unlimited.”
In the aftermath of the presentation of the new Aston Martin, the Spanish newspaper ‘As’ reported important words from Fernando Alonso, who dwelt on what are his feelings about the upcoming start of the championship and the continuation of his career.
“I would be lying if I said that we go to the track convinced that we can win already this year. I expect a very complicated first part of the season also complicit with the completely new project. In the second part, however, we can be more competitive and if an opportunity arises we will have to be good at taking it,” began the former Renault, Ferrari and Alpine driver, among others.
“My time behind the wheel is not unlimited. I think this will be the last team I drive for. What motivated me to come to this team is the desire to surprise and take satisfaction. We are a growing team and I will try to make sure that I can get to compete for victory in the shortest time possible,” continued the Asturian.
“Dan Fallows and Eric Blandin are two very important additions, as their skills combined with the infrastructure and talent of everyone in the stable will allow us to make strides. It’s just a matter of time,” concluded Fernando Alonso, speaking about the new faces on the pit wall and in the pit box.
