Spal, on Oddo’s staff another former Azzurro: details

Spal has made Daniele De Rossi’s replacement official.

Busy Tuesday for Spal, which announced a change of technical leadership after its latest series of defeats in the Serie B championship. After the announcement of Daniele De Rossi’s dismissal along with the entire staff, the Estense club in a statement made official the arrival on the bench of another world champion, Massimo Oddo.

“S.P.A.L. announces that it has appointed Massimo Oddo as coach of the first team. The new biancazzurro coach has signed a contract until June 30, 2023 with automatic renewal until June 30, 2024 if salvation is achieved this football season.” Oddo has already set to work, directing the team during Tuesday’s training session.

Also completing his staff will be Marcello Donatelli (assistant coach), former Azzurro Stefano Fiore (technical collaborator) and Luca Guerra (athletic trainer).
