Farewell to Mario Zurlini
More mourning for Italian soccer. Mario Zurlini has died. He would have been 81 years old next March 17.
The former Azzurri defender had been born in Parma, making his debut in the cadet series with the Dukedoms’ jersey, and had played for a long time in Naples. Having closed his playing career at Matera, in the same city in Basilicata he had undertaken his coaching career. Several Campania formations he led in his career: Savoia, Turris, Juve Stabia, Grumese, Cavese, Benevento and Casertana.
