Roma anxious about Paulo Dybala: Jose Mourinho explains.
Paulo Dybala did not play the second half of the Salzburg match
Not enough frustration for a defeat that came in the last minutes, Roma returns from Salzburg with one more anxiety, that related to Paulo Dybala’s condition. The Argentine, a starter in the lineup arranged by coach Jose Mourinho, did not return to the field after halftime, replaced by Celik.
On the sidelines of the match, at the microphones of ‘Sky Sport’ (according to which Dybala’s injury was muscular in nature), the Portuguese coach expounded on the reasons for the substitution of the ‘Joya’: “What did he have? I do not know precisely, but he told me that he was not in condition to continue. Right now I can’t tell you how much the precaution weighed, the fact is that I had to put El Shaarawy to have dynamism up front, in the final I then inserted Belotti. However, in the end we got a goal, there was nothing we could do.”
Mourinho then confirmed that Dybala will undergo medical examinations that will determine the nature of the injury and possible recovery time.
