Genoa: Gilardino doesn’t let down his guard ahead of Modena
The 25th day of Serie B will end on Sunday, Feb. 19, with the match between Modena and Genoa. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:15 p.m. at the Alberto Braglia Stadium. On the eve of the match, Rossoblù coach Alberto Gilardino spoke in the usual pre-match press conference.
“It is a team that is experiencing a very good moment of form. It is fearsome, very strong on the second balls and very concrete like its coach whom I respect and respect. It will be a very tough match that we will have to face with great attention, determination and awareness,” the Grifone coach began about the canaries.
“I am very satisfied with the reaction we had after the defeat with Parma. In the match with Palermo we showed that we are a real team playing with great awareness. At certain moments of the match we focused on the restarts, while in other situations we expressed very proactive soccer controlling the pace of the game,” continued the former Fiorentina striker.
“We know there will be a big following tomorrow. We know how much passion and support our fans give us. We have to keep working and pursue what are our dreams and goals,” Gilardino concluded.
