Ducati, Pedrosa sends advice to Bagnaia
Dani Pedrosa: “Ducati superior, it was clearly seen in Sepang”
KTM tester Dani Pedrosa in an interview with Dazn took stock ahead of the 2023 MotoGp World Championship. Ducati is once again the benchmark bike for everyone: “We can’t say whether Ducati is better or not compared to last year’s bike, but it’s clear that right now they are superior, at least from what we saw in Malaysia. I went to observe on the track in those days and they seemed to be very fast bikes in all kinds of corners and on all parts of the track, they all seemed comfortable.”
On individual riders, Pedrosa is clear: “From what I saw, one of the best was Jorge Martin. Then there is Pecco Bagnaia, who is the defending champion and will try to defend his crown. Last year he was champion with a lot of mistakes, something I’ve never seen. It will be enough for him to fall less to do better.”
On the possible dualism with Bastianini: “He will be eager to show his worth and will be motivated by having the world champion by his side.”
