Jannik Sinner doesn’t lose his smile after the final
The words of Jannik Sinner
Jannik Sinner makes no dramas after his defeat in the final in Rotterdam against Daniil Medvedev. “I’ve played a lot of matches in the last two weeks, I’m happy with my run anyway.”
“In the first set I felt great, I didn’t have the best start in the second. The inertia changed. In the third I didn’t serve well when I got the first break. Congratulations to Daniil, I hope I can play more matches like this in the future. I made some in everything, even from the physical point of view despite the fatigue of the final. I think I made progress with my serve and my forehand. Maybe I could have gone to the net a little more often. But I think tactically I made the right choices. Confidence can help you at certain times in matches. I think generally I try to stick to my game plan, to be aggressive, to come forward. Of course there are matches where I can do that more often and others, like today, where I can do it less,” the South Tyrolean’s analysis.
