World Ski Championships: stunning bronze by Alex Vinatzer
Azure won an unexpected medal in slalom
Italy ends the Alpine Skiing World Championships in Courchevel-Meribel on a high note: Alex Vinatzer took a surprise bronze medal in the Slalom event on the French slopes.
Great performance of the Azzurro, who in the most important race of the year manages to impose himself by finishing third, behind the Norwegian Henrik Kristoffersen, gold with 1’39″50, and the Greek Aj Ginnis (resounding silver, first rainbow medal for Greece in winter sports).
Thanks to Vinatzer’s laurel, Italy ended the medal table with four medals, two gold, one silver and one bronze.
