Ducati turns Alex Marquez’s life around: ‘I am grateful’
Alex Marquez thrilled after first months in Ducati: “They make me feel important”
The two-year nightmare at Honda is forgotten: Alex Marquez is enjoying his first months as a Ducati rider. The MotoGp World Championship has yet to begin but the Catalan centaur feels he is finally valued: “Ducati wants the eight riders who ride their bikes to be up front and give you great support. It’s something to be grateful for and it makes you feel important inside the factory.”
The satellite team riders will not have to test new components, “This also helps me focus on what I have available. It makes your life easier, because you can see it’s a bike that works, I just have to make the most of it. This bike allows a lot more, and every time I’m on the track I have fun, but going fast is also important to have fun,” are the words to Motorbike Magazine.
